The FACTS Plan

To help you meet the expenses at Southwestern Michigan College, we offer a convenient monthly budget plan, through the Cashier FACTS Automatic Payment Plan. The FACTS Plan allows a student to pay online and choose between paying in full or making monthly payments through the following options:

1. Scheduled Electronic Bank Transfers
2. Automatic Monthly Credit Card Installments
3. One Credit Card Payment of Entire Balance Due

Read more about each of these options by click on the Related Links provided on this page. You may budget tuition and fees by semester. This enables you to have the lowest monthly payment possible. Because FACTS is not a loan program, there is no credit search and no interest or finance charge assessed by FACTS on the unpaid balance, FACTS charges a $25.00 per semester non-refundable enrollment fee to participate in its program.

Student may enroll in the FACTS Plan online through the SMC Self-Service channel in SMC Wired following registration for classes. Follow the Payment Option link under the Student Account area on the Student and Financial Aid tab.

Students may also set up a FACTS Plan prior to the opening of registration by clicking on the Cashier^tm icon below.
