Our beautiful 240-acre Dowagiac campus has more than six miles of wooded, cross country trails for year-round enjoyment. SMC is located in the heart of Southwest Michigan, a half-hour north of South Bend, Indiana and less than an hour south of Kalamazoo.

A		Jan and A.C. Kairis Building The 16,873-square-foot A.C. Kairis Complex houses Southwestern Michigan College's Automotive Technology, where students work with state-of-the-art equipment simulating a real-world auto shop. The building was completely renovated in 2010. The facility is also used for the Construction Trades program. [Classrooms 500s]
B		Barbara Wood Building The Barbara Wood Building houses the Information Technology Center. The building was completely renovated in 2007. The IT Center offers flexible learning spaces, an open computer lab and state-of-the-art audio visual equipped classrooms. [Classrooms 400s]
C		Fred L. Mathews Library and Conference Center The library has an Online Library Catalog, a Teaching and Learning Center and open computer lab. Mathews Conference Center East and West are located in the facility. [Classrooms 600s]
D		William P.D. O'Leary Building SMC's Communications and Social Science departments are located here as well as the O'Leary Lecture Hall and an open computer lab. [Classrooms 300s]
E		Dale A. Lyons Building A 390-seat theatre, Fine and Performing Arts Department, Art Gallery, the University Center, Enrollment Management and open computer lab are located in the Lyons Building. [Classrooms 100s and 200s]
E1		The Museum at Southwestern Michigan College The Museum at SMC is part of the Dale A. Lyons Building and is located on circular drive on the east side of the Lyons Building.
F		College Services Building Birdfeeder Cafeteria, Bookstore, Student Commons, Financial Aid, Academic Support, Business office, Registrar and Records, Teaching and Learning Center, Academic Assessment and Testing Services. [Classrooms 1000s, 2000s, 2100s] The College Service Building also houses the Health Education Wing which is located on the first floor of the College Services Building. The hallway entrance to the wing is off the Upper Commons area. [Classrooms 1600s]
G		Foster W. Daugherty Building SMC's Math and Science departments are located here as well as an open computer lab. [Classrooms 700s]
H		Keith H. McKenzie Hall On-campus student housing features furnished four-bedroom suites with private key card for suite entry and security keypad entry to each bedroom; on-site Housing Manager and Residential Advisors on each floor. Secured parking lot accessed only by a key card.
H1		East Hall Second on-campus student housing unit features furnished four-bedroom suites with private key card for suite entry and security keypad entry to each bedroom; on-site Housing Manager and Residential Advisors on each floor. Secured parking lot accessed only by a key card.
I		Charles O. Zollar Building Houses the Student Activity Center which is the hub for sports, recreational and fitness activities. The SAC includes a fitness center, resistance pools, a rock climbing wall, a theatre, game room, outdoor patio, and snack bar. [Classrooms 800s]

O	North Field Area between west side of College Services Building and east side of Charles O. Zollar Building. This area is typically used for campus bash during the fall and winter semesters.
