By visiting the University Center at SMC, students can plan their educational future from start to finish. Whether you’re a high school student who plans to complete a four-year degree or an adult looking to complete a degree that was started years ago, the benefits are the same: a degree. The University Center is located on the first floor of the Dale A. Lyons Building, Room 139, on the Dowagiac Campus of Southwestern Michigan College.

SMC has teamed up with two top colleges, Ferris State University and Bethel College, to offer students the chance to complete one of bachelor’s degrees listed below right here on the campuses of SMC.

• Human Resource Management Certificate
  This certificate provides an opportunity for students in any major to gain the basic knowledge and skills in the field of human resources required of supervisors and managers in all areas of an organization.
• International Business Certificate
  Corporate executives across the United States stress that college graduates entering careers in business need to acquire global skills. This certificate will give you the global business skills that corporations seek. This certificate can be earned in conjunction with the Business Administration BS degree.
