Enrollment Management Overview

Welcome to Southwestern Michigan College’s Enrollment Management where an Outreach Specialist will guide you through the steps to becoming an SMC student.

The Outreach Specialist will be the first person you meet at SMC. They can assist you with the SMC application, registration, financial aid forms, testing requirements, campus tours, and orientation.

The Outreach Specialist will coordinate with you a plan to make your time at SMC a successful college experience. They also work with you and your family to help with the transition from high school to college.

High school juniors and seniors who are eager to get a head start on college can earn high school and college credit at the same. The SMC Outreach Specialist can guide you into the SMC Dual Enrollment or other Early College programs.

Adults who want to enroll at SMC will get the same coordination from an SMC Outreach Specialist as high school students through the Return to Learn workshops for the adult students.
