International Student Admissions

Dear Prospective Student:

Thank you very much for your interest in becoming a student at Southwestern Michigan College.

Our number one goal at Southwestern Michigan College is student success. It is our mission to provide all of our students the proper resources needed to achieve personal and academic success.

It is time for SMC to reevaluate the services and resources we are able to provide our international students. In order to do so effectively and efficiently we have decided to temporarily discontinue admittance to our college for those students joining us on an F-1 visa. We will resume acceptance of students studying on an F-1 Visa for our fall 2012 academic year.

If you are interested in being part of our new and improved international student studies program, please send me your name and mailing address. I will be happy to send you our new application materials when they are ready spring 2012. I am very excited to be part of our forthcoming program and I am sure you will be too.
