SMC Alumni Association - Aloha Run

The annual Aloha Run (Hawaiian Fantasy Run) is sponsored by Southwestern Michigan College’s Alumni Association under organization of Ron Gunn, director of SMC’s Extreme Sports program.

This is a fun run, Gunn said. No results were recorded. It was a great way to start the New Year on an upbeat fitness note and have an opportunity to get together and reminisce with SMC alumni.

“There were 89 fired up participants in the race and not one of them died from heat stroke considering the tropical weather was at an all time high for this time of year,” Gunn said.
