Register for Classes

Registration completes the formal process of enrolling in a course or courses. You are considered officially enrolled in the college when your classes have been entered into the computer. At that point, all tuition and fees associated with the enrollment become your obligation. Students who wish to stretch payment out over a period of time should check out our no-interest tuition payment plan (FACTS).

Southwestern Michigan College offers online registration to all currently enrolled students. Use the SMC Self Service channel located on the My SMC Space tab in SMC Wired to open Student and Financial Aid > Registration > Select Term and step-by-step Registration Instructions are available at the top of the Registration screen in SMC Self Service.

If you are not currently a student or were previously a student who has had a break in attendance, you must complete an Application for Admission online before you will be able to register of classes.
