Request your username and password.
All students and employees should request accounts on the MSDN system by contacting Computing Services at (269) 782-1230 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. They are not automatically created. Once you have requested your account, go to the following URL and click on the Log In button. Click on the link under Login Help. Enter your SMC e-mail address on the Remind Me of My Password page and click the Go Find It button. You should receive your password to access the system via e-mail within a few minutes. Your MSDN password will be different than your SMC Wired password.
-
Login to the system.
Once you receive your password, you can enter your SMC e-mail address as your Username and the password you received via e-mail to log into the system.
-
Select your software.
Once you’ve logged into the system, click on the Software tab to view the software titles available to you. Select the title you wish to purchase. Once you have selected all titles that you wish to purchase, click on the Add to Cart button. You must read and agree to the Student Use Guidelines. Once you are satisfied with the items being purchased, click on the Check Out button. You will be prompted to enter your first and last name and confirm your e-mail address.

Click on the title of the software to display your Order Detail with Serial Number. Print out a copy of this page as your proof of purchase and take it, along with a picture ID, to the SMC Bookstore at the Dowagiac campus to pay the appropriate media and handling fees. You can always click on the My Software button, to view details on software (and serial numbers) previously purchased.
-
Obtain and Install Software.
The Bookstore will immediately give you the media for all items listed above as "in-stock". Other titles may require one-business day for receipt of your media.
You are responsible for registration of any software you purchase.
