Resume Writing and Interviewing

You often make your first impression on employers through your resume, and you want your impression to be outstanding. An effective resume is a written snapshot that clearly describes your education and experience. But an outstanding resume is more than just good writing and a generic list of activities. A truly outstanding resume is custom-tailored to the position you want, presenting information in order of relevance to the position. Clearly, your resume should be your best work. Make an appointment at the Career Resource Center to have it looked over. We have tried to pull together the internet resources shown on the right to help you write an effective resume and have a successful interview.
