Steve's Run - Teams

Steve's Run welcomes team competition and offers categories shown on the right for the 10K, 5K and 5K walk. Some important details about team competition are listed below.

• Each team member must be individually registered for the race on an official Team Entry Blank.
• Only corporate, club and educator teams must complete and submit an entry blank prior to 9 a.m. on race day. Two person family teams do not have to submit a Team Entry Blank prior to the race.
• Corporate, educators and club teams may have an unlimited number of names on the roster and the five best times will count. Two person teams with multiple sons or daughters may count the fastest.
• The team captain is responsible for completing and turning in the Team Score Card after the race. Only teams submitting cards will be considered for prizes. The team captain must sign the card. Team score cards can be picked up at the TEAM SCORE TABLE during registration or at the TEAM SCORE TABLE in the park at the finish. The team score coordinator will assist team captains in computing scores.
• Corporate and Educator teams are to consist of a least five full-time employees or part-time employees who have been on the payroll at least two months.
• Team competition in the corporate, educators and running club will be in the 10K, 5K, and 5K Walk. Family teams will also be in all three races.
• Team entries that are turned in early are appreciated and will also guarantee a custom “Fire Up” sign honoring your organization on the course.
