Course Descriptions

This area of our Web site is dedicated to providing access to online course descriptions organized by term. Not all courses are taught every semester. Please refer to the Schedule of Classes to determine when a particular course is scheduled to be taught.

Descriptions for courses offered from Fall 2006 to the present are available online through the Search Link on the right. Simply select the appropriate Catalog Term and then Subject from the drop down lists and the courses meeting your selection criteria will be displayed. Detailed Course Description Information can be displayed by clicking on the course title.

The drop down list below gives access to an archive of course descriptions offered prior to Fall 2006. Use the Search icon on the right to access course descriptions from Fall 2006 to current. The course descriptions listed represent courses that may be offered or have been offered in the past at Southwestern Michigan College. These course descriptions are made available primarily for administrators at other institutions to use to evaluate the transcripts of our students.
