Digital Home Technology Integration Overview

Digital Home Technology Integration is the installation and integration of various electronic systems in the home and business environment. It is recognized nationally as one of the fastest growing career fields with a current growth of about 15 percent annually.

Career fields include security system technician, satellite, telecommunications cable and A.V. installers, and network administrators. Students completing the program are prepared to sit for a national certification examination. This 14-credit certificate can be taken as a stand-along program or as a valuable addition to degree programs in construction trades and computer sciences. Students who complete this program will be able to sit for the CEA-CompTIA DHTI+ certification exam.
