Effective Fall 2014 for new students, the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) will replace the MACRAO agreement. Students who attended prior to the Fall 2014 semester can still complete the MACRAO agreement until the end of Summer 2019.

The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is designed to facilitate the transfer of general education requirements between participating Michigan institutions. The agreement provides for the transferability of a block of core requirements at participating Michigan institutions. Students who complete specified courses included in the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees will be well on their way to a four-year degree.
