A non-traditional student is anyone who is beyond the typical college years (usually 24 or older), or who is a parent or caring for an elderly or disabled family member. They still follow the same application process as a traditional student but have access to additional resources to aid them through college.
Whether you are pursuing a degree for the first time, returning to school after many years, or just want to take a couple of courses for personal enrichment, SMC has the support you need to accomplish your goals. Here are a few highlights:
