National College Testing Association Certified Test Center

New students admitted to the college are required to complete placement testing before registering for classes. This allows us to place them in the courses best suited to their academic abilities. Accuplacer placement tests are available in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics, although ACT, SAT, or other standardized test scores may substitute for placement testing.

The Testing Center also offers many tests that can result in the attainment of college credit for passing the test. In addition, we provide services to the public as a testing site for many professional certifications.

Placement tests and course tests are given on a walk-in basis. However, some time restrictions set by instructors require that tests must be started at least one hour, sometimes two hours, before the Testing Center closes.

The Academic Assessment and Testing Services is a certified testing center by the National College Testing Association.
