Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in EDUC 115. Assists students in applying developmental principals to young children's social development. There is a focus on specific strategies and procedures that will enhance growth of internal self-control. These skills include: learning how to listen and talk with young children, methods for effective discipline, and increasing children's ability to make choices. Regular observation of young children is required. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
