Course Description

Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Nursing Program. Introduction to the theoretical and practical application of concepts, principles and skills needed for identifying and meeting basic care needs in a culturally diverse adult client population. Emphasis is placed on utilization of the nursing process, effective communication skills and nursing skills and clinical nursing skills in the well client.[Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
