Southwestern Michigan College offers a variety of scholarships to graduating high school students who have excelled in academics.
In addition, we offer a number of restricted endowed scholarships through the generous support and contributions of individuals and organizations throughout the community.
Scholarship awards are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: donor restrictions (such as curriculum), grade point average, and need as determined by your current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
If you plan to attend college in the 2013-2014 school year, the deadline for filing for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.gov) (FAFSA) is June 30, 2014. However, if you will be attending college beginning in fall 2014, you can file for federal aid beginning January 1, 2014.
Priority consideration for all Southwestern Michigan College scholarships will begin December 2013 and will continue until scholarship funds are exhausted. The college will notify students by mail if they are awarded a scholarship. You may select as many scholarships that apply.
