This is the first class to experience the expanded Nursing and Health Services Building that opened in January and to train in its new simulation labs.

“I was a commuter student my first two years,” he said. “National statistics show you do better if you live in housing. You’re much more connected when you live on campus. You go to programs, get to know people and have a bigger support system.”
Four SMC retirees served 73 years
“Most of my life I’ve been a performing and traveling musician,” said Patrick, who plays 14 instruments. “I’ve played in almost half of the states and four foreign countries, plus the Canal Zone.”

Adamson, a Georgia native, an OL and a summer RA, determined SMC to be her college destination through online research. “For me, SMC has been a wonderful experience,” she said.
