Southwestern Michigan College hosts Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours at its Niles Campus on Thursday, Aug. 10, from 5:30-7 p.m.
The Chamber’s Gina Barger, membership coordinator, welcomes everyone at 6 p.m. and previews upcoming events, followed by SMC President Dr. David Mathews’ remarks at 6:10.
Niles Campus, opened in 1991, is located in Cass County’s Milton Township at 33890 U.S. 12, east of downtown at M-60.
A 1999 expansion doubled instructional space, followed two years later by the adjacent M-TEC facility for advanced technology programs named for former state Sen. Harry Gast, R-St. Joseph.
A two-phase, $3 million renovation in 2013-14 gave Niles Campus its current appearance.
Besides networking over hors d’ouevres and refreshments, business cards will be collected for a prize drawing.
Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce has more than 350 members across Niles, Buchanan and northern Indiana.
