SMC is a two-year community college that offers associate degrees and certificates. The Associate in Arts and the Associate in Science degrees prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities where they can complete baccalaureate degrees in a wide variety of studies.

At SMC, students also can pursue occupational programs designed to prepare them for the workforce or to improve their job skills. Students completing an occupational program are awarded the Associate in Applied Science degree. In addition to Associate degrees, SMC offers several certificate programs in career occupational studies which are designed to develop or enhance employment skills.

In addition, SMC students can complete a bachelor’s degree from among several cooperative programs with four-year universities located right here on SMC’s campus.

With assistance from one of SMC’s friendly Outreach Specialist in Enrollment Management, you will be guided step-by-step through the application process. Follow the link for Enrollment Management to find your Outreach Specialist. Schedule a visit to SMC’s campuses by filling Schedule a Visit form.
