SMC's Choral Camp is an intensive, one-week residential camp for high school students designed to encourage the advanced study of choral and vocal music. Guest clinicians are Curtis Gulledge Sr., an award-winning jazz vocalist, pianist, composer, and educator, and Dr. Tim Brent, nine-time DownBeat Magazine award recipient.

During the day, students refine their vocal skills, learn advanced musicianship techniques with challenging instruction from the region's top musicians, and explore career interests. In the evening, they enjoy organized group activities, free time, and the use of the Student Activity Center.

Camp participants stay in SMC's apartment-style residence halls under the supervision of our professional housing staff. Fee for the camp ($400 by July 11) includes intensive instruction, housing, social events, lunch, and dinner.

Choral Camp concludes with a final public concert on August 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Dale A. Lyons Theatre on SMC's Dowagiac Campus.
