Nineteen instrumental musicians performed Dec. 9 at Southwestern Michigan College Visual and Performing Arts’ fall semester recital in the theatre of the Dale A. Lyons Building on the Dowagiac campus.

Playing were:

• Justin Hemenway, euphonium.
• Hector Salguero, trombone.
• Cameron Williamson, trombone.
• Anthony Martinez, trumpet.
• Alexia Holtz, trumpet.
• Brayden Rice, trumpet.
• PJ Fraczek, bassoon.
• Izaiah Mallo, flute.
• Andrew Culver, alto saxophone.
• Joseph Rizzo, alto saxophone.

They were joined afterwards by their teachers, Director of Bands Mark Hollandsworth; Christine Seitz and  Marcelo Martins, collaborative pianists; and applied music faculty, who include Mark Alvarez, saxophone and double reed; William Clark, low brass; Mike Davis, guitar; Dr. Anna DeCou, flute; Danny Lopez, trumpet; and Elisabeth Waldburger, clarinet.
