Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in EDUC 115. An orientation to the critical issues in early childhood education, including: developmentally appropriate practice, child abuse, childcare choices, parent rights, kindergarten entrance, diversity, and high-risk children. Advocacy strategies will also be presented. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
