Course Description
Prerequisite. Acceptance to the Nursing Program. Introduction to the theoretical application of concepts, principles and skills needed for identifying and meeting the basic care needs of the culturally diverse adult client population. Emphasis is placed on utilization of the nursing process, effective communication skills, and basic care concepts. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
