Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grades of C in ELEC 118 and ELEC 119, concurrent enrollments allowed; MATH 101 or satisfactory test score, concurrent enrollment allowed; minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104 or satisfactory test scores placing into ENGL 103W or higher, concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. The student will learn to construct and build relay ladder diagrams, install typical motor control circuits in conformance with the National Electrical Code and the use of standard diagrams and wiring plans. Troubleshooting of circuits will be emphasized to allow students to develop critical thinking skills. [Semesters Offered: Fall]
