Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grades of C in ELEC 131; MATH 127 or satisfactory test score; minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or satisfactory test scores placing into ENGL 103W or higher; concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. This course provides foundational understanding of computers and industrial controls. Topics include basic operation, memory considerations, connecting peripherals, using an assembler, using a ROM programmer, programming on-chip timers, counters, serial and parallel I/O, and programming interrupts. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
