Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in SOCI 201. This course is designed to provide an overview of concepts, theories, and research essential for analysis of social problems in American society. Issues examined include poverty, race, deviance and crime, immigration, and alienation. There will be opportunity to focus on topics of students' interest. [Semesters Offered: Fall]
