Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grades of C in ELEC 118; ELEC 119; MATH 101 or satisfactory test score; minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or satisfactory test scores placing into ENGL 103W or higher; concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. This course is designed to study solid state devices such as transistors, diodes, and amplifiers. In addition the operation and maintenance of sensors, transducers, controllers and final control elements. Principles and practices relating to many kinds of devices used to control temperature, pressure, flow, level and motion will be studied. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
