Course Description

Prerequisite: BUSI 200 recommended. In Business Law I students gain an understanding of business law as it relates to them currently and in their professional future. Included in the material is a review of the evolution of business law at the federal, state and local levels. The course will include an introduction of the court system at the local, state, and national levels and a discussion of the substantive and procedural differences between civil and criminal law. Students will learn about contract law and the law of sales. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
