Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or satisfactory test score placing into ENGL 103W or higher. Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. Targets physical/motor, socio-emotional, cognitive and language development of children from conception through age eight. There will be a focus on the importance of observation, impact of family relationships, developmental milestones, individual diversity, appropriate environments and strategies to enhance development. Students are expected to observe and record the behaviors of young children. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
