Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in MATH 101 or MATH 102 or satisfactory test score placing into MATH 127, 128, 150, 153, or higher. Provides the elementary teacher with a minimum foundation in the structure of arithmetic. Includes problem solving techniques, sets, relations, and bases, the properties of natural numbers, integers, rational, and real numbers. Includes selected topics in number theory and algebra.
