Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in BIOL 110 and HEED 101. This course discusses the basic principles of pharmacology. Emphasis is placed on drug classifications, use of those drugs, routes of administration, dosages, interactions, incompatibilities and side effects. A lab component will cover various techniques of medication administration. A minimum grade of "C" is required in this course prior to enrolling in the internship. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
