Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in MATH 127 or MATH 128. Permission of the Dean of Nursing. This course is designed to focus on the mathematical skills essential for safe administration of medications by the nurse. In addition, the student will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the administration of oral and injectable medications in a weekly laboratory setting. Emphasis is placed on client-centered care, evidence-based practice and informatics, safety, teamwork and collaboration, and professionalism. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer]
